About Ihsan Secondary School
Ihsan Islamic Secondary School (IISS) is a co-education school which was established in 2016 by Kigamboni Education Service (KESL) to offer secondary and advanced education in Tanzania. It is located in Kigamboni District, Dar es Salaam Region, Tanzania. The School follows Tanzania national curriculum blended with nurturing programs and religious training which facilitate holistic training to the students. In this regard, the School is using modern teaching and learning facilities, good and experienced instructors and up-to-date technology to offer extracurricular activities aimed at helping students to be leaders, self-reliant and good citizens. These, combined with the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, as well as experienced management and effective oversight mechanisms, enable the School to achieve its established mission.
Ihsan Objectives
- To equip Muslim students with adequate knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for their earthly life and the life hereafter through quality and relevant training and nurturing.
- To prepare students for technical and vocational education and higher education.
- To provide a good learning environment that shall support the offering of quality education that ensures competent and effective members of society on completion.
- To offer highly competitive services to our customers at a relatively lower price compared to the prices of our close competitors.
- To create an alternative school to the parents who give quality priority and offer value for money services to quench our customers’ thirsty for quality education in Islamic setting.
- To offer a better education, through the use of good instructions, modern methods and techniques and equipment in an Islamic Moral setting.
- To hire a competent school management team, competent teaching and non-teaching staffs and put in place all necessary services such as power, transport and communication facilities in order to realize our vision of being recognized as an institution of quality learning and development.
- To establish and use the most attractive service scheme for all our employees and carry out constant training in order to ensure quality services, retention of employees and raise our customers’ confidence and satisfaction.
- To work closely with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and all its institutes and other relevant , Municipal, Zonal and National organs in implementing the National Curriculum.
- To become the Centre of excellence for academic activities, sports and other extracurricular activities in Tanzania and elsewhere.
- To establish an effective network with partners around the globe whether mere competitors or those with similar goals in order to expose our teachers and students to the global issues and challenges.
